Most SAP trouble comes down to a handful of moments. A programme is running late and over budget. A contract is about to be signed. A board has stopped believing the status reports. A company with SAP inside it is about to be acquired. In each case, someone needs a clear answer, quickly, from a person who is not part of the project.
That is what these engagements are for. Each one has a fixed scope, a fixed fee and a short timeline, so you know what you will get and what it will cost before we begin.
If one of these sounds like your week, we should talk.
Your SAP implementation is late and over budget. The system integrator and your own team each say the other side is the problem, and nobody can say for certain who is right.
You are a CIO or finance head about to commit between INR 5 crore and INR 50 crore to an SAP contract, and no one independent has checked the scope, the estimate or the licence terms.
You sit on the board, or you are the promoter, and you no longer trust the updates on a programme. You want someone from outside the project to tell you plainly where it stands.
You are looking at a company that runs on SAP and you need to know what you are really buying, before the deal closes and not after.
Pick the one that matches your situation. Each ends with written findings you can act on.
Two to three weeks
We look at the plan, the budget, the team, the design decisions and the state of the build and testing. You receive written findings addressed to the board: what is working, what is not, what it would take to recover, and what we would do first.
Fixed fee
We sit on the buyer's side of the table. We help you write down what you actually need, test each proposal against it, compare estimates on a like-for-like basis, and ask the questions vendors would rather not be asked.
Before you sign
We read the scope, the estimate, the licence terms and the commercial conditions the way a buyer should. You get a clear list of what to change, what to clarify and what to push back on, while you can still do something about it.
For investors
For private equity and other investors looking at a company that runs SAP. We assess the system landscape, the level of customisation, the licence position and the people and vendors holding it together, and tell you what it means for value and for the first year after closing.
Tell us what is happening, in a few sentences. We will tell you which engagement fits, or whether you need one at all.
